NYTimes Spelling Bee Game Today

Spelling Bee is an online word game that challenges players to form as many words as possible. Players utilize the pre-selected letters to complete the game. Each word must include the center letter. The editor curates the word list selected for each daily puzzle.

Players must use at least four-letter words. They must not include obscure, proper nouns, or hyphenated words. The puzzle ranks you according to your minimum score and percentage of possible points in a puzzle.

A new Spelling Bee puzzle is released at 3 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) every day of the week. Subscribers can play the puzzle at any time, even after it turns into a past puzzle.

 

Note: A spelling bee puzzle is also available to play in the print edition of the New York Times Magazine. The print version comes with a different set of letters and scoring system from the digital version. Answers for the print edition can be found in the same issue of the edition.
