NYTimes Spelling Bee

NYT Spelling Bee is a game that challenges players to construct as many words as possible. The words can be spelled by using the pre-selected letters. Each word must include the center letter given in the puzzle. Players find the words according to an editor-curated list. This is why players may not include all the words in a dictionary.

Objective of the NYT Spelling Bee game:

  • Words must be at least 4 letters long.
  • Words must include the center letter of the puzzle.
  • Our list does not include obscure, hyphenated, or proper nouns.
  • Letters can be used more than once.
  • The answers must include a Pangram (a word of all seven letters used at least once).

The puzzle rewards the gamers with different ranks as more possible words as they find. The ranks start progressively from Beginner, Good Start, Moving Up, Good, Solid, Nice, Great, Amazing, and finally, the Genius. These ranks are based on a percentage of possible points in a puzzle. The players can check the Spelling Bee Forum for help from the Hivemind on their beeline to Genius. For more information, select More in the top right corner of the game and select Rankings.
